Abadi Al Jawhar was born in Jeddah. His early beginning was with the singer Lotfi Zein and Talal Madah in 1968 with his first song Ya Ghazal.
Life forced Abadi Al Johar to play the oud at the casinos in Cairo, so he can be able to spend on the cancer treatment of his sick mother.
The oud accompanied Abadi throughout all his singing career
