Surah Al-Muddaththir

Ayat Al-Muddaththir

O thou enveloped in thy cloak, (1) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Arise and warn! (2) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Thy Lord magnify, (3) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Thy raiment purify, (4) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Pollution shun! (5) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
And show not favor, seeking worldly gain! (6) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
For the sake of thy Lord, be patient! (7) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
For when the trumpet shall sound, (8) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Surely that day will be a day of anguish, (9) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Not of ease, for disbelievers. (10) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Leave Me to deal with him whom I created lonely, (11) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
And then bestowed upon him ample means, (12) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
And sons abiding in his presence (13) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
And made life smooth for him. (14) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Yet he desireth that I should give more. (15) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Nay! For lo! he hath been stubborn to Our revelations. (16) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
On him I shall impose a fearful doom. (17) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
For lo! he did consider; then he planned (18) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Self destroyed is he, how he planned! (19) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Again self destroyed is he, how he planned! (20) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Then looked he, (21) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Then frowned he and showed displeasure. (22) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Then turned he away in pride (23) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
And said: This is naught else than magic from of old; (24) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
This naught else than speech of mortal man. (25) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Him shall I fling unto the burning. (26) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Ah, what will convey unto thee what that burning is! (27) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
I leaveth naught; It spareth naught (28) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
It shrivelleth the man. (29) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Above it are nineteen. (30) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the fire, and their number have We made to be a stumbling block for those who disbelieve; that those to whom the scripture hath been given may have certainty, and that believers may increase in faith; and that those to whom the Scripture hath been given and believers may not doubt; and that those in whose hearts there is disease, and disbelievers, may say: What meaneth Allah by this similitude? Thus Allah sendeth astray whom He will, and whom He will He guideth. None knoweth the hosts of thy Lord save Him. This is naught else than a Reminder unto mortals. (31) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Nay, by the Moon (32) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
And the night when it withdraweth (33) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
And the dawn when it shineth forth. (34) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Lo! this is one of the greatest portents (35) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
As a warning unto men, (36) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. (37) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; (38) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Save these who will stand on the right hand. (39) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
In gardens they will ask one another (40) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Concerning the guilty: (41) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
What hath brought you to this burning? (42) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
They will answer: We were not of those who prayed (43) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Nor did we feed the wretched. (44) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
We used to wade in vain dispute with all waders, (45) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, (46) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Till the inevitable came unto us. (47) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
The mediation of no mediators will. avail them then. (48) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Why now turn they away from the Admonishment (49) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
As they were frightened asses (50) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Fleeing from a lion? (51) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages from Allah. (52) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. (53) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. (54) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
So whosoever will may heed. (55) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
And they will not heed unless Allah willeth it. He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. (56) - [Tafseer in Arabic]
