Arab Idol

Arab Idol is the Arabic version of the TV entertainment program "American Idol", it has come as a substitute for the program "Super Star", which used to be broadcasted on Future TV. The first season of Arab Idol on MBC, started on Friday, December 9, 2011, under the slogan of "Everyone sings" or Al Koll Youghanni. The jury had a tour across the Arab world and discovered new talents, which were chosen to participate in Beirut. After selecting the best candidates for Arab Idol, the audience will vote for their favorite talent via text messages or SMS on specified numbers for each country.Arab Idol season 1, broadcasted on MBC1 and presented by Abdullah Tyahy
