Maya Nehme was born on September 9-1987, in Sour, Lebanon. She’s the daughter of a Lebanese father and a Russian mother. Maya is learning dancing and playing on the piano ever since her childhood.
At the age of 17, she participated in the beauty pageant “Miss Lebanon Emigrant” and in “Miss Tyr” in which she won the title.
But if we talk about her participations in the world of art, her major one was in “Star Academy” where she shined as the mutli-talented girl. Maya began nourishing her talent and released her first single “Warkah Bayda’” in 2009. Maya also participated in a video clip for Fadi Andraos. Then, she signed a contract with “New Wave Productions” for Walid Abdel Masih, Maya’s husband whom she got married to in November 2010, in Cyprus.
