Mays Hamdan has a talent in imitating many renowned people in the Arab world, she has been discovered by Subhi Ahmed who was working at the time as a Manager of Public Affairs in MBC.

Mays Hamdan began her art career in the sarcastic program CBM with participation of Arab stars. She used to present the program, and at the same time continuing her studies.  

Mays Hamdan has performed in many films such as Omar and Salma, Kef El Hal, Zaref Tariq.

Her first appearance in movies was in the film Kef El Hal. Many criticized the movie as a failure, but as being the first production for the Saudi cinema, it was not for profit. And Prince Walid Bin Talal met the actors after the film and confirmed that the production of the first Saudi film was a worthy experience and praised the whole crew. 

 Mays doesn't give importance of comparisons with her sister, "Mai Selim"; because each one of them has a different look and different voice style. Mays says she is not just her sister, she is more or less like Mai's mother.
