Philippe El Hage, a Lebanese artist, born in Byblos in 1979. He studied music in Lebanon and obtained a degree in French Literature from Saint Joseph University in Beirut. He also studied in Paris at the Boulogne Billancourt Conservatory. At the Regional National Conservatory of the city of Rueil-Malmaison he obtained the First Prize in Piano (Gold Medal). In May 2005, he was nominated for the Paris Young Talents 2005 Contest. Philippe El Hage also studied Piano Jazz at the Gabriel Fauré Conservatory.
Philippe El Hage performed concerts in Lebanon, France and Italy.
In September 2007, Philippe El Hage released his first album “Byblos” recorded in France.
In December 2008, he released his second album “Sunday Afternoon” recorded live in Beirut.
In 2011, Philippe El Hage released his third album “Flying with elephants” reflecting his diverse influences: jazz, classical harmony and oriental (Near Eastern) music.
