In 2007, Radio Chabab Palestine won a funding from the European Union and in partnership with the Foundation for the opening of the Italian COSPE Radio. The funding aims to strengthen the social work and the march of democracy in the Palestinian territories that have been affected significantly and dramatically by the Israeli occupation, which has had a major impact on the population, through increased poverty and violence. . . 

 

Radio Chabab Palestine speaks of youth and reflects on the role of youth, male and female, in the process of change in society and in order to create an environment that is more of equality and justice in the expression and the rights and opportunities.

 

Young Palestinians were given the chance to train in the Palestinian radio station to build up their skills in press, freedom of expression, democracy and human rights. The main goal is to ameliorate Palestinian media in order to seek development and make it as part of a community radio project in the area of Bir Zeit.
