The Arabian Radio Network (ARN), led by Abdul Latif Al Sayegh, CEO of Arab Media Group of companies, launched in September 2001 the first project in networking Radio Al Arabiya 98.9 FM, around-the-clock Arabic music and news station. It was considered as the newsroom that raised the waves of Dubai forever.
 
Dubai has seen the launch of Radio "Free FM", which targeted young people and for the first time in the English-speaking language, and was an immediate success, particularly for the existence of expatriate Westerners in the Emirate (UAE).
The biggest success of the Arabian Radio Network, in May 2004, was when it merged the  "Free FM" station with the governmental "Dubai FM" station, and named the new station "Radio Dubai 92".

Arabian Radio Network has eight radio stations today, they are: Al Arabiya, the Gulf, Noor Dubai, City 1016, Virgin 104.4, Hit 96.7, Dubai Eye, and of course Dubai 92.

And because the city of Dubai embraces the excitement and dynamism, the fact is that the Dubai Radio 92 has a large group of listeners who listen it every day, and listen to the latest news.
Dubai 92 has a series of programs provided by funny people, and has as well as some of the western sequences.
Associated with the occupation of this station, station Dubai 92 ranked first among those in the region, the multiplicity of types of music that it broadcasts is a mix of music between the new and the old classic tunes.
