Reem Banna is originally Palestinian; she was born in Galilee-Nazareth. Reem is an Arabic singer and composer ever since she was young; she loved singing and music.
At the age of ten, Reem Banna began in the world of art and that’s through her participation in the school’s parties, the national and political ceremonies.
But Leen wasn’t satisfied with what she had, she worked on nourishing her musical knowledge. She studied singing and music in the Universal institution of music in Moscow and got graduated in 1991.
Reem released her first album in 1985, under the name “Jefra”; it was a combination of songs that she sang in her sessions. And after a year from releasing the first album, she released “Dmouiik Ya Oummi”.
Later on, Leen’s work flourished when she married the artist Lioned Aleksiyenko; they worked together in music and they participated in many festivals and parites.
