Cherine Wajdi was born in Cairo, Egypt
She studied and graduated from the Faculty of Literature, carrying a certificate of the English Language.
Although she graduated from the Faculty of literature, but she preferred singing, and that was when the artist Wajdy Alhakim discovered her talent and gave her his name and she officially entered the field of art and was known by the Egyptian media.
Sherine Wagdy’s first album was titled "ElNass El helo", and the second album which helped her approach the public "Maqdarsh".
The album that helped Sherine Wagdy arrive to the world of stardom and fame is the album "Lawbina eh" which gained numerous Egyptian and Arabic awards.
Sherine Wagdy also provided humanitarian song, a children song “3ouyoun al atfal” (the eyes of children) and has set up many charity concerts, of which its revenues are donated to the sick people, and children with cancer.
