The band “Wasat El Balad” was established in 1999 by two guys and later it was completed by the six guys that joined it becoming a band of eight members.
At the beginning, the name of the band was “Al Far Al Ramadiy”that included Aadel Ahmad Omran and Hani. Then, the band grew, joining Ismail Fawzi, Ihab Abdel Hamid, Ahmad Omar, Asaad Nasim, Mouhammad Jamal El Din and the oriental voice that completed the band: Adham Saiid. The road to fame was harsh on this band knowing that they started on a small Opera stage. But later on, “Wasat El Balad” was chosen as the name of the band and their first party was done, holding this name, in “El Mashribiya” gallery.
“Wasat El Balad” participated in many festivals and parties inside and outside Egypt.
