The Arabic alphabet doesn’t hold vowels like the English and French alphabet; however, to divide syllables in the word, the Arabic alphabet uses Haraket that changes the way of pronunciation of the letters.
There are three Haraket: Kasra that makes the sound of Eee, Fatha that makes the sound of Aaa, and Dammeh that makes the sound of Ou, and the Skoun that freezes the letter with no change in sound. The three haraket at end of the words is called: Tanween and they change to Kasratein with the sound of En, Fathatein with the sound of An, and Dhammatein with the sound of On.
