While some of the people considered that his song is directed against women and equality between men and women, others saw that this is not correct; it is not true that women shall remain in the house and only perform the home duties and just satisfy the husband. People stood between these two points. But in fact it is nothing except just a song aimed to amusement, and there is no need to make it carry all of these meanings that is far away from reality.

Mohammad Iskandar song “Ra2eeset Joumhouriyet Albi” was released in the market weeks ago, and there were a lot of echoes and reactions from the people towards it; and it was ranked number one on most of the Arabic radio channels. The lyrics are for Fares Iskandar, the son of the Lebanese singer Mohammad Iskandar.

The song “Joumhouriyet Albi” comes after a previous Arabic hit song for the same artists “Ouli Bihebni” in which he expressed his love for his sweetheart, by preventing her from talking and seeing other men and threatened her till death…”Joumhouriyet Albeh” continues male’s dominance and power over women.
