«Too Much Love Kills» was the last performance listed under the Lebanese nights at the Baalbeck International Festival 2010.

The musical scenario and direction by Ghassan Rahbani, and the idea written by Melhem Barakat. Both Lebanese artists worked with over 100 dancers and other artists like Rania El Haj and Pierre Chamoun, and Ali Al-Khalil.

The musical theatrical show is based on the symbolic conflict between the Eastern music and Western music. This idea was already discussed in many writings, but it’s its first appearance on stage in a huge musical titled “Too Much Love Kills”

Baddak Malyoun Sini” is one of the Arabic songs performed by Melhem Barakat in this musical.

In the first scenes of the play, Melhem Baraket shows as the standard-bearer for the Eastern music while Ghassan Rahbani is the champion of Western music. In short, it is the story of Lebanon, a country at the crossroads between East and West
