The Egyptian singer Mohammed Mounir stated after singing with the Rai Algerian singer Cheb Khaled that their performance is a brotherly musical dialogue. The 2 Arab singers will be performing together in a concert in November 12  just two days before the anticipated football game confrontation between the two countries. Egypt will host its neighbor Algeria in a fateful game on Saturday, November 14th where a team will be qualified for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa

Cheb Khaled said, “My only goal -as an artist- has always been to promote peace and love among people, and i have always been convinced that the politics is to the politicians, but I do not have any targets in this area; and the art world must be insulated from politics”. Mohamed Mounir also had a special word to the press, he was surprised by the overcharging and tension in his relationship with the neighboring country, his music next to Cheb Khaled is a musical dialogue only, and the Arab listeners must benefit from this union
