Michel Aoun, leader of Free Patriotic Movement, announced his electoral list, for Lebanese Elections 2009 in June, for the Metn region. The political personalities involved in the Lebanese elections in Metn are: Ibrahim Kanaan, Ghassan al-Ashqar, Salim Salhab, Ghassan Mukhaiber, Edgard Maalouf and Nabil Nicola. The distinctive announcement was the surprise of involving the Arabic Lebanese singer Ghassan Rahbani.
Ghassan Rahbani is now officially in the Tayyar’s list in Metn…will he get votes as he expects?! We cannot deny that he has many musical fans, everyone is just wondering whether he will succeed in the Lebanese politics.
